ASBA Names Reunion Resort & Club's Tennis Amenity “FACILITY OF THE YEAR”

 

Reunion Resort & Club’s tennis facility has received an award for “2006 Facility of the Year” by the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA). The association surveyed several facilities across the nation before choosing Reunion’s newest amenity as the winner of this prestigious award.
 
 
Reunion’s facility consists of six Har-Tru clay courts, which are sub-surface irrigated, allowing for fast drying; a professional regulation sand volleyball court, a 900 square-ft. pro shop and men’s and women’s locker rooms. Adjacent to the courts -- and part of the same facility – are a children’s playground and a large athletic field for soccer and other sports.
 
“We are proud to have added this new amenity for our members and resort guests,” said Bob VanBergen, general manager of Reunion Resort & Club. “It certainly is a wonderful facility and we are thrilled that it is already receiving accolades.”
   
Reunion offers several vacation packages for the avid tennis player and golfer. Special end-of-summer rates begin at $199 for a luxurious one-bedroom suite. Resort guests have access to world-class amenities, including a multi-acre water park, several swimming pools and three Signature golf courses.
